Naturalism Jewelry at Oscars 2019 and Forbidden City

Naturalist design jewellery has become worldwide very popular since the 19th century when there was a massive change in industry and society.  Flowers, fruits, animals are the most popular elements to be used in naturalism jewelry design, which give the jewelry organic and fragile feeling. In Chinese culture, the admiration for nature has always been an important part. Chinese people believe in “Respect nature as the teacher (道法自然)“ and to reach ” Harmony between Nature and Mankind(天人合一).” Such philosophy has also been reflected obviously in the jewelry design from history and even now. Nature is a prevalent theme in Chinese jewelry.
