Light Stone Is A Cultural Map You Can Wear
Where It Begins
Light Stone was founded in 2018 by designer Jingjing. With a background in architecture, urban planning, gemology, and jewelry design, she has a quiet habit: treasure-hunting along the forgotten edges of culture.
She spends time in museums, among traditional artisans, and in the overlooked pages of old image books—seeking fragments of beauty that sit in silence.
"Why has no one ever worn this?"
This is often where a Light Stone collection begins.

A Cultural Map Worn Close
Each of our collections begins with a cultural language rooted in a specific region of China.
From the windworn murals of Dunhuang, to the primal geometry of Gansu's Majiayao totems, the layered metalwork of Beijing filigree, the quiet sheen of Fujian lacquer, and the soft translucency of Ru kiln celadon—we follow history not to replicate it, but to wear what remains.
These aren't copied symbols. They are impressions—left behind after body and emotion have moved through a cultural space.
Each piece quietly breathes, carrying those traces into the present.
Light Stone is not a museum. It is a moving emotional landscape.
And we continue to walk slowly across that long cultural map.
Materials and Craftsmanship
We begin with materials that carry cultural resonance— handmade porcelain beads, lacquer, filigree silver, and jade.
These are paired with 14k gold, freshwater pearls, and silver to create pieces that tell stories - made to move easily between memory and modernity.
We work with artisans across China. Every piece is crafted in small batches, with close attention paid to the integrity of technique and the intimacy of how it sits on the body.
And yet, working with traditional craft brings its own quiet tension: imperfections in form, long delays in production, and the emotional uncertainty that comes with releasing control.
But it's exactly this kind of imperfection that reminds us these pieces are worth discovering, worth preserving, and worth sharing with you.
The Beauty of Balance
From sculptural earrings to ultra-minimalist necklaces, we explore a balance between strength and softness—bringing together the structure of Eastern artistry with the clarity of contemporary design.
We believe beauty is not decoration, but structure.
It exists in the tension between weight and lightness, between tradition and the present, between historical gravity and aesthetic ease.
To seek out that balance again and again—between craft and concept, between memory and body—is the heart of what we do.
And that's why we're called Light Stone.
We're glad you're here.
When you wear these pieces, they're no longer just jewelry.
They become part of your personal archive—an extension of your story.
